3 Tips For Falling BACK into routine…

It’s been back to school for a few weeks now, and by now most people are settling into a fall routine.
Personally, I LOVE fall!!!
Time to all hold hands and get back to routine… together!
Too often though, something has got to give and usually, it’s either sleep or eating well. Both of which can have a detrimental effect on our health and sense of well-being!
Trust me, I get it. We all have so many competing priorities that it can be hard to give enough time to eating well.  It’s important to start somewhere though, so here are a few of my top tips for fast and fresh lunches
3 smart tips to make lunch easy 
1.Double Double!
 
Double your supper recipes- cook once- eat TWICE and pack it for lunch the next day. It saves both money AND time! (Better yet – triple or quadruple it!)
2. Get Chopping!
It’s easy to grab something to eat that’s heavy on the bread and simple carbs, but getting enough veggies is a whole other challenge.
Chop up all your vegetables ahead of time or buy a vegetable tray.
Wake up and quickly pack all your vegetables in a glass container or Ziplock Bag for a quick GRAB and Go!
 
3. The Cold Never Bothered Me Anyway…
No, not the cartoon Frozen song…Even if you don’t need leftovers tomorrow, freeze them for those busy weeks (and maybe even batch cook something like a hearty lentil dahl) so that you an have some meals stockpiled and ready to go during crunch time!
